Mafunyani Cottage

Quaint and convenient

Pros: The cottage is close to town and very convenient for the wine tram. The pool was great to have a it was a very hot weekend when we were there. The cottage is well maintained and nearly kept.

Cons: The second bedroom is quite small and the aircon was very noisy. The neighbours' dogs barked non-stop on the Saturday afternoon.

Loved the cottage, loved the town, Robyn was a great host

Pros: Proximity to Franschhoek town, brilliant. Everything you need in walking distance Spacious enough for 3-4 guests

Lovely property in a great location

Pros: Great location, the wine tram and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The property is well equipped and the property manager is easy to contact. Lovely pool and seating area at rear of property.

Cons: Nothing. It was all good

We had a wonderful time in Franschhoek and the proximity of this property is perfect for wintering, shopping and restaur

Pros: The property was well situated and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was a lovely addition as on some days it was very warm. Plenty of room for 4 people.

Cons: It could do with a new sofa as the one was quite stained and uncomfortable. I would say the property is on the small side, but as long as you don’t mind sharing a bathroom it’s fine.

The stay was fantastic. We would have liked to stay for a week.

Pros: The cottage is in a top location. The pool was nice and clean. The lawn in the garden was wonderful. We really liked the cottage itself. We felt at home and safe. It was clean and everything you need is available.

Cons: We couldn't get the coffee maker to work.

A great private cottage

Pros: Superb cottage with private back garden, swimming pool and entertainment area. Definitely recommend staying here!!

Cons: The 2nd bedroom had no cupboard space for unpacked clothing. One cupboard locked and the other contained cleaning equipment. After complaining, this was collected from the unit. There is an empty cupboard in the kotchen which could have been used for equipment.

Pros: It is a beautiful kept clean and very nice cottage with a swimming pool

Cons: The cups were a bit stained.

Will probably be back as so much of the area we didn’t see due to the storm damage, even the pass was closed. Was so pea

Pros: Loved it, perfect place to wind down after three weeks travelling the cape. The cottage was 👍 close to the Main Street with all the shops pubs and restaurants. Security at the cottage was excellent and easy to use. Everything we needed was available, the pool was like being in a warm bath.

Cons: Nothing.
