Luxury and confort

Pros: This was spacious with plenty of rooms, it was clean and comfortable, with walking distance to the beach. This is a mansion and you feel like you staying in luxury. The kitchen is massive and accommodated for the family.

Pros: The house was stunning, exactly as portrayed in the pictures. Each room was clean, polished and this made the stay even more pleasant and comfortable. The house has everything you may need aside from your groceries, the host was even kind enough to provide cleaning supplies such as dishwashing tablets etc! Communication with the host was quick and he ensured to accomodate for all our needs. Norma was also extremely kind when receiving us and made us feel welcome. The home is safe and secure and never once did i have any worry on my mind. Bonus points for the prime spot near the penguin colony, as well as the incredible views. Our stay was peaceful and serene. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return!

Our stay was amazing, the hosts was amazing. Welcoming and so warm.

Pros: The house is absolutely stunning—every detail, from the views and design to the décor, it’s thoughtfully curated and truly beautiful. Property is secured, quiet and peaceful area. Everything about this property is beautiful.

Amazing stay and such a grandeur place.

Pros: Everything about the property was well thought-out and made convenient for guests. Will 100% go back for another stay.

Cons: Nothing. Only one issue, which I not really is an issue, was that on the booking.com advert one of the FAQs was that there are no BBQ facilities however the property actually has 2 braai spots perfectly located 1 upstairs and 1 on the ground floor.

Tolle Unterkunft, schöne, sichere Lage in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet

Pros: Das Haus ist ein Traum, riesengroß, toll eingerichtet, alles funktioniert einwandfrei, sehr gute Ausstattung, alles was man braucht ist da und von hervorragender Qualität. Sehr gutes Bett, tolles Badezimmer im oberen Stockwerk. Tolle und sichere Lage in Bettys Bay. Zu Fuß etwa 7 Minuten zu der sehr empfehlenswerten Pinguin Kolonie, die ist schöner als die in Kapstadt und mit etwa 2 Euro pro Person Eintritt auch noch wesentlich billiger. Schöner Pool hinter dem Haus mit Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten.

Cons: Die Kommunikation am Tag der Anreise war eine Katastrophe. Trotz vielen Versuchen per Mail, Telefon und Kontaktformular keine Reaktion ob der Check-in um 15 Uhr in Ordnung ist und wie wir ins Haus kommen können. Auch über bookingcom sind wir nicht weitergekommen, hier wurde uns eine Stornierung und Umbuchung angeboten. Der Eigentümer hat sich dann gegen 13 Uhr gemeldet, dass alles in Ordnung ist. Aber einige Nerven hat es schon gekostet. Ich gehe Mal davon aus, da ist etwas schief gegangen und das ist nicht der Regelfall. Er hat sich dann viele Male Entschuldigt. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es entgegen der Beschreibung bei bookingcom und Airbnb nicht, hat jetzt im März auch nicht gefehlt, die Temperaturen waren sehr angenehm. Kleine Anmerkung zum Schluss - die versprochene Flasche Sekt gab es auch nicht, aber egal, wir würden wieder kommen. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einem sehr schönen Haus.
