Pros: We recently enjoyed a wonderful private getaway at Von.Wyn.Berg, and it was truly a highlight of our trip to South Africa. The setting is absolutely idyllic, nestled in a stunning location that captures the very best of the Stellenbosch Farms landscape. Our accommodations were top-notch—the rooms are not only generously sized and airy but also kept in immaculate condition. It was a pleasure to return to such a clean and comfortable space each evening. A huge thank you to Maryke and Kenneth, whose genuine warmth and friendliness made our stay feel extra special. We also had the delightful surprise of meeting the owners by chance; they were incredibly kind and clearly take great pride in their beautiful property. If you are looking for a peaceful and welcoming retreat in the Cape Winelands, Von.Wyn.Berg is the place to be!

Cons: While the property is perfect in every way, guests will find that having a car or driving service is essential to access this beautifully quiet location.

Beautiful stay

Pros: Great location, room was so big and lovely. Great hosts couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was so good, all fresh and plenty choice. Would highly recommend.

Pros: We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful guesthouse just outside Cape Town. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to escape to the country for a few days – peaceful, surrounded by nature, and with truly breathtaking views. The rooms are newly built and thoughtfully designed, with stylish interiors that make it feel both modern and cosy. Everything was spotless and perfectly prepared for our arrival – it really felt like a special place. Our hosts, especially Maryke, were outstanding. Warm, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile, they made sure we had everything we needed and more. We can’t recommend this place highly enough – a real gem and one we’d love to return to.

From the beginning of our stay we were in communication with Meryka who was an excellent host.

Pros: I loved staying here, the room is absolutely beautiful, breathtaking views, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were amazing and very accommodating, we also loved the doggies, they were very sweet. I would 100% recommend, and will also be returning! The room had many plugs , and space for getting ready and we were provided with hypoallergenic bedding upon request.

Cons: There isn’t much negative to say.

Hidden Gem almost in town

Pros: Newly renovated,top finishes. Amazing views,peace full and most accomodating staff and very friendly.Close to wine farms and shops.Feels like a proper wine farm nestled in the mountains.Great experience and will most definitely return.

Wunderschön und absolut ruhig

Pros: Wunderbare Suite mit tollem Ausblick, super sauber, Pool beste Wasserqualität, alles gepflegt. Jederzeit wieder

Pros: De eigenaren zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Verder is het heel kleinschalig waardoor het heel relaxed is. De kamers zijn fantastisch en heel ruim.

Pros: Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der wunderschön gestalteten und bestens gereinigten Suite, sowie den weitläufigen Garten mit zwei bezaubernden Hunden, sehr genossen. Uns hat auch die ruhige Lage mit Nähe zu Stellenbosch und vieler Weingüter sehr zugesagt. Das absolute Highlight war für uns das gebuchte Braai mit Maryke und Kenneth, welches wir am letzten Abend noch ein weiteres Mal gebucht und genossen haben. Vielen Dank Maryke und Kenneth für die liebenswerte und professionelle Betreuung! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
