Relaxing night's stay in the winelands

Pros: The breakfast was standard, with the hot section made to order. Excellent complimentary wine tasting included in the accommodation.

Cons: No pastries in the breakfast!

Exceptional hospitality perfect location

Pros: Very warm welcome from Claudine, very friendly and helpful. Wine tasting available at the property and excellent scenery of vineyards and mountains. Clean comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. Secure free parking.

Fabulous stay

Pros: The place had a lovely relaxed vibe, the room was spacious and clean with a very large comfy bed and a nice outside space. Staff were very helpful and efficient. We really enjoyed the free wine tasting and the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. Finished off with a good breakfast. Loved our stay and very happy to recommend.

Cons: Nothing not to like!

The hotel has real boutique potential, but currently it feels somewhat outdated

Pros: At first glance, the hotel looks absolutely charming and very beautiful. The location is great and very close to many wonderful wineries around Stellenbosch. The property is cute, set in a lovely environment and offers beautiful views. The rooms are very spacious and come with large terraces, which we really enjoyed. The wines themselves are also nice.

Cons: The hotel feels a bit dated and would benefit from some updates in certain areas. Unfortunately, the pool was not very clean during our stay. There was only one manager on site who had to take care of everything — check-in, breakfast, wine tasting and room checks. While she was very kind, it felt overwhelming for one person and came across as somewhat unprofessional overall. We honestly felt a bit sorry for her having to manage so much alone. The wine tasting experience was also rather disappointing compared to other wineries in the area.

Great little mini-break

Pros: No on-site restaurant but it was a very easy to 5 minute drive into Stellenbosch with their plentiful array of establishments. Breakfast was a choice of English breakfast or omelette with perked coffee. The room was very nice and clean, wonderful shower! Free secure parking.
