A lovely warm and homely guest house

Pros: Charmaine made us feel very welcome. Her breakfasts are amazing. All the staff were very polite and friendly. Andrew was very informative with suggestions. Our room was clean and well equipped.

Cons: Having to leave.

Waterstone Lodge, excellent.

Pros: Staff was super friendly and supported me, even putting everything in my room in order for me to have a glass of wine before I went for dinner at Steffanies.

Cons: The room was on the side of the property. I guess for others, it might be brilliant, but I would have preferred a first-floor room. The property was still amazing.

Classy, clean, great views, a must

Pros: Exactly as I remembered the place around 5 years ago when we stayed for the 1st time. From what I remember Andrew and Philip just bought the place. And we visited family for an 80 birthday celebration across the road at Stephanie’s place. We booked at Waterstone Lodge as it was a quick walk across the road. Room is a perfect 10, from cleanliness to class, style and amazing view. Bed is king size (memory foam), bath tub and separate large shower. From Bedding to towels all was just perfect clean and great condition (not many places focus on the details but Andrew nailed it for consistency. Honesty Mini Bar, great touch to the room. The rest of the house perfect from the kitchen area and sneak view I had of the gardens etc. Well Done Andrew & the Waterstone Team for the consistent upkeep of the place. Absolutely amazing returning to a place and having the same experience 5 years later. A definite must to stay.

Pros: Andrew, Charmaine and FiFi are incredible. They made the stay special, with nothing being too much. They are all so friendly and accommodating. It was our 2nd stay, and definitely wont be our last.

Cons: We liked everything. I would have to be unfair to complain. If I have to complain about anything, it would be that there is a lot of light coming into the suite upstairs. I am a poor sleeper, and this was just me.

We would recommend this BNB to up market business persons as well as overseas visitors.

Pros: The size and decor of the room coupled with the amazing view of ocean and mountains. The good breakfasts.

Elegant lodge in Somerset West

Pros: We loved the elegant design and furnishings. Beautiful outside area and swimming pool. The room had everything you needed and the rain shower was excellent.
