A delighful small guesthouse in a beautiful garden and well located for surrounding wineries.

Pros: This is a beautiful property and a lovely garden and pool. Eating our very excellent breakfast on tables moved into the farden was a perfect start to the day. The house has a historic feel and the rooms are beautifully presented. While a way outside Paarl the location is excellent for visiting the nearby wineries and the highly regarded fish restaurant next door is a wonderful bonus. We were made to feel very welcome at all times, including meeting the couple who had lived in the house and still visit daily.

Cons: We were warned on arrival about possible mosquitoes but the rooms were well equipped with spray and etc and we only ever saw one. On arrival we had to ask the restaurant to call as there is a gate with a code that is provided once there - so make sure you are in touch with the property prior to arrival. It is convenient for the main road north but just close enough to hear it when otherwise very quiet.

Beautiful and homely.

Pros: Location was perfect and central. Staff were attentive and the breakfast was more than adequate and scrumptious. The manageress, Loma, was available and always ready to assist. A well run establishment.

Perfect place to stay for a few days.

Pros: Lovely place to stay for a few days. Loma and the team looked after us wonderfully. The restaurant next door -Salmon & Brine - made eating out an absolute pleasure.

Pros: The host at Vendome, Loma, was exceptional. She really took care of us and made us welcome as if we were stepping into her own home and very welcome. Great breakfasts and very comfy bed. A thoroughly good place to stay!

A perfect stay in the Winelands

Pros: Had an amazing stay at Vendome Wine estate! The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and served on time with more than enough to eat and choose from. The highlight was definitely the staff who were so accomodating, kind and helpful throughout my stay. Special thanks to the host Carin who went out of her way to ensure that everything during my stay was perfect. Would recommend this to anyone and will be sure to visit again.
