The perfect place and atmosphere to relax, replenish and refresh!

Pros: The sea views are fantastic! Whether on the bed, couches or balcony. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

Cons: The ground floor rooms pick up the noise from the street which is relatively busy, and so sound proofing would help. Secondly, all rooms should have a microwave not just the suites.

Gorgeous place - and a fantastic location for a morning visit to see the penguins 🐧

Pros: A lovely warm welcome, reading about the history of the building - and we especially loved sitting by the bay window enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sea.

Cons: Nothing!

Big room in a charming house

Pros: The house is quite old, so everything is a bit aged, but quite charming! Very friendly staff, very good breakfast! The beach was nearby. You have a lot of restaurants within waling distance.

Cons: Around the matress was a strange cable and a plastic knob, just where the shoulder is.

An enjoyable stay in an excellent location. We would happily return.

Pros: Blanca and Michael were excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. It’s in an excellent location within safe walking distance of the beach and restaurants.

Cons: The rooms are perhaps getting a little tired with insufficient wardrobe and drawer space. We were told that the property will be having a makeover in the middle of this year.

Cons: Limited restaurants around the area, and parking, if I wasn’t with my husband I wouldn’t have been able to park my in the designated area

Pros: Beautiful old but well maintained house. Easy access in and out, close to the beach, aircon for the heat that works very well, blackout curtains. Good breakfast. Amazing value for money.

Pros: We had such a lovely stay at Berg en Zee Guesthouse. The views are absolutely stunning, the rooms are comfortable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy Gordon’s Bay’s beauty. Highly recommended!
