Expensive for what you get

Pros: Amazing location and host. Nice outside shower and braai facilities. Private and amazing with the animals

Pros: It was fully equipped, we had a need for nothing. Home away from home. Riaan was extremely accommodating and helpful. We loved the tranquility.

Lovely relaxing 5 day break

Pros: Lovely cottage. Fully equipped. Comfy bed. Nice to see the zebra and peacocks roaming around. Star gazing was amazing. The sound of lions during the night was fantastic. Lovely view over the dam with seating and a kayak. Some great places to eat within a short distance Wildekraans/Beaumont/Shuntin Restaurant and others.

Pros: We spent two days on this amazing farm and it was very sad to leave because it's such a soulful place. We were delighted by Ryan's hospitality and thoughtfulness. He gave us very detailed directions to the farm, and upon arrival, he gave us recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores. The house itself and its location were magnificent. The interior was well thought out to the smallest detail, and you just wanted to examine every detail; the house is furnished with great love. We felt ourselves in the very heart of nature; peacocks were walking in our yard! Separately, it is worth mentioning the animal tour that Luca conducted for us. He told us many interesting facts about the animals on the farm. We saw a hyena, a caracal, lions, meerkats, an ostrich and even petted the fastest animal on the planet - a cheetah! The tour was incredible, we experienced a storm of emotions! Thank you so much for an amazing weekend on the farm! We will definitely come back again

Great place, sensational location and perfect for a weekend away with friends!

Pros: Great location and really cool house! Loved the whole stay! Great for groups of friends looking for a quality house amongst the amazing vineyards!!

Great stay in nature!

Pros: What a lovely place!!! The cottage was styled beautifully, equipment all good, beds slept well. Many animals (especially peacocks) roaming around the place.We really enjoyed the hospitality of Riaan and his team!

Pros: Beautiful location, so relaxing. The property is surrounded by the most beautiful view. The animals was a bonus and did not expect that there was so much to do and see on the farm.

Hidden gem!

Pros: Warm hospitality, lions can be heard in the distance, quiet, tastefully decorated, only an hour and a half from Cape Town.

Cons: The pillows in the bedroom were a little flat - literally the only criticism I would have.

Great spot for a large group

Pros: Love the location and a great spot for a large group. the kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfy. the swimming pool was a game changer.

Cons: The only downside was the lack of airflow and it was VERY hot when we were there. The hot tub was also green and not very appetising.

Lovely stay for a relaxed weekend away

Pros: Lovely set up, with a unique interior, very clean and appreciated that the house was fully equipped. Definitely can recommend this for a group or a bigger family to enjoy a weekend away.

Cons: Maybe consider having a small shop with main groceries, bread, farm milk, eggs and drinks for those who are forgettable and not organized. 😊
