Beach Cottage

Great for family.

Pros: Location, layout of house, facilities and amenities available and definitely the big refrigerator.

Cons: Not much not to like.

Just what the Dr ordered

Pros: We loved everything. The property is well equipped with all the essentials and more. Loved the tranquility and location. The touch of home away from home. Those books just gave me the desire to start reading again. Thanks, Kay.

Cons: The bed/mattress in the 1 room. However we moved the other room the following night and it was very comfortable. So nothing that we didn't like.

Wow. What a pleasant stay. Lovely beach cottage very close to beach.

Pros: Location, location, location. Walking distance as well as view of ocean. Had all the necessary amenities.

Pros: Beautiful walk across the boardwalk and river to the beach, amazing bird life.. I had the best swim of 2024 in Kleinmond at sunset, was absolutely gorgeous 😍

Cons: The place has everything and more that you need, a little cluttered but otherwise an amazing stay.

Cute cottage by the sea

Pros: The host was very contactable. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Dishwasher available, WIFI There are instructions for the house so you can refer to it when you need. Lovely selection of books and games. Toiletries and towels supplied incl peaceful sleep and citronella oil as the mozzies can be pesky. The beds were comfy. Chocolates on the pillows. The neighbours are friendly too. Mountain View, lagoon and pier, beach view

Cons: We found it difficult to locate in the late afternoon. We also didn’t expect the campers across the road to share the access to the beach which means random people walk past to the beach throughout the day. (They were harmless but being from out of town, it felt strange to us) We kept the curtains closed as per the instructions but the half of the house gets very hot so an aircon will help if not a strong fan to push out the hot air. Lots of cats roaming around. The washing machine was not working. The gas geyser can be tricky to light but we eventually got it sorted and it stayed on until we left.

Pros: It was close to the beach, very well equipped and clean.

Cons: The house was very extremely hot. This was not a huge problem for us though as we were on the beach most of the time!

Pros: The location was amazing. A view of the ocean, sound of the sea was constant. The town is clean and has most amenities. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need.

Cons: The cottage was not very clean, there was a lot of dirt on the floors, the kitchen counters were greasy and the bed linen had stains, and didnt feel clean. Besides this everything was great.

So grateful to have found this place.

Pros: I expected it to get quite cold with its proximity to the beach, but the cottage was so nice and cozy, with everything available we could possibly need. Neighbors and even passersby are very friendly. Walking distance to a beautiful beach, with an option to fish in the lagoon Down the road from shops.

Cons: That it came to an end lol.

Pros: location is great. It has everything you need, it is spacious and it does have internet connection, although the add says no internet.

Pros: Beautiful little cottage with a lovely vibe, just what my cousin and I needed for a get away. Kay was very welcoming and we loved her little place for the 4 days we were there.
