Lovely, quiet one night stopover near to airport

Pros: Lovely Colonial building in quiet residential neighbourhood. Only 15 min by Uber from airport. Lovely staff.

Cons: Few local amenities. We couldn’t find even a coffee shop open at 4pm on a weekday afternoon. Expensive.

Incredible!

Pros: You can truly never go wrong with their omelette for breakfast 😌. I love how beautifully the breakfast options are laid out, right next to a breathtaking view of the pool — it makes the experience feel extra special. The staff consistently go above and beyond, whether it’s helping with recommendations for things to do in Cape Town or thoughtfully surprising me and celebrating my birthday. Thank you so much, ladies ❤️ This stay was nothing short of memorable, and I’d gladly return again and again.

The Banksia is a breathtakingly beautiful hotel with welcoming and helpful staff.

Pros: The location and house (including the rooms) were stunning and very safe. It took my breath away. The pool was lovely and the indoor garden was gorgeous. One of the managers, Rizea, was so kind, supportive, professional and efficient. She was one of the highlights of my trip. Breakfast was superb. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and soul-refreshing.

Cons: The water was not free with the room, and a 2L water was not available. The lack of lunch and dinner options.

Intimate venue perfect for couples, quiet relaxing times and spa treatments

Pros: Beautiful colonial style property with plants, lovely room, excellent bathroom and products, massive and very comfortable bed; great a la carte breakfast and staff were fantastic too. Razia took good care of us and I was able to use a board room space for an online meeting after check out.

Cons: Everything was perfect
