Somerset West All Stay 2

Our favourite stay by far!

Pros: Although the location shows it is on the main road, the units are set way back from the road in a lush, tranquil garden setting, around a stunning, heated pool. We had a very warm welcome from our hosts, Marinus and David with a nice bottle of red wine waiting in our unit. A lovely touch. The unit we stayed in was luxuriously decorated. Wonderful beds with superior linen. This unit had everything and more we could have asked for. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

Pros: The host was very pleasant, accommodating and put in great effort to ensure that we were comfortable. The apartment was well equipped, clean and cosy. We will definitely be back again! 🙂

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone planning to visit the area.

Pros: There was excellent communication from the host as soon as our booking was confirmed. It was really reassuring.

I'll definitely stay here again.

Pros: The location was perfect because I needed to take my car to Rola Toyota the following morning, and the accommodation is only five minutes away.

Cons: It was great. There wasn't anything I didn't like. The only thing I don't like is Booking.com's tedious review system, which forces you to keep writing when you don't have anything to say.

Lovely stay in beautiful apartment.

Pros: A lovely, very well-equipped apartment in a secure complex. It was beautifully decorated including some wonderful art work by our host, Marinus. I can’t speak highly enough of Marinus who was an exceptional host. He was there to welcome us and helped with our luggage on arrival and departure. He made sure we had everything we required and gave us information on local restaurants, etc. He kept in contact throughout to ensure that we were OK and were aware of load shedding timings. He also very generously provided a welcome bottle of wine which we enjoyed.

Cottage on 171 Main, SW

Pros: The Location is superb. Security access in place.. Safe environment. Host Marinus, wow what a fantastic, friendly, talented person. Cottage immaculate. Very private, tranquil, Serene. Beautiful furniture. The kitchen equipment very well cared for, new, exactly what's needed. Actually better equipped than other Timeshare Apartments around South Africa. Cottage Layout, wow its just simple the best. Fridge stocked with soft drinks, Still & Sparkling water, Yougurt. Bottle of Wine on cupboard. Fully stocked Grocery Cupboard for Braai. Braai available outside, comfortable chairs, lounger. WIFI, NETFLIX, YOUTUBE, DSTV Available. Bedroom oh Wow, comfy mattress, Egyptian Cotton bedding. Fluffy Towels, Shampoo, Body wash in Shower. Heater, Hairdryer, enough Toilet paper, soap. Simply the best accommodation ever!!! Guests have access to swimming pool area and luscious garden.

Cons: Absolute everything beyond my expectation. Must return again and again. Nothing not to like.

Superb!

Pros: Location is excellent- central yet quiet. The owner goes out of his way to ensure every comfort is seen to. Lots of wonderful extras eg chocolates next to the bed, fridge stocked with juice and yoghurt, plenty of coffee and even a bottle of wine!

Pros: Exceptional friendly reception and allround service. Marinus goes the extra yard and his pricing is very competitive, in fact, for what he offers, it's a steal. Good privacy, excellent facilities, very comfortable, good taste, finishes and art, all the necessary appliances, cups, glasses, pots etc for self catering, gas braai, washing machine and inverter to ensure you always have wifi and can enjoy the smart TV. Also, thank you Marinus for the chocolates, wine, fruit juice, milk, yoghurt, etc with our arrival.

Hidden gem in Somerset West :-)

Pros: Everything available, full privacy, great place to explore the region,… and a most friendly and welcoming host Marinus! I will definitely be back :-)

Cons: No complaints whatsoever. All was great :-)
