Hermanus: stay at Ruth’s homely nice and quiet place all in walking distance

Pros: Perfect accommodation. Homely feeling with kitchen, good shower and well sized bedroom. Ruth is the perfect host! We spend two days in Eastcliff Cottage and enjoyed the terrace surrounded by trees where we had breakfast. The proximity to Checkers, the entire city and the ocean is another plus. All is in walking distance.

Pros: Lovely balcony to sit out on. Fabulous hostess. Good location. Good value for money.

Cons: Nothing, older property, and quite small, but not lacking in charm.

Just perfect!!!

Pros: We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect. Everything is within walking distance and it is absolutely safe to walk everywhere even at night. Ruth was the sweetest and most caring person, always making sure we had everything we needed. We felt completely at home and loved sitting out on the beautiful veranda overlooking her lovely garden. Would absolutely stay here again!

Ideal location in Hermanus

Pros: Exceptional location, in a quiet street but minutes away from the cliff path, shops, restaurants. Facilities are all you need. Quiet peaceful garden with lots of birds. Great shower, comfortable bed, lots of towels. Ruth is a great host.

Pros: The centrality of the cottage to town and the cliff path. The room was clean, and Ruth was very friendly and welcomed us. We were comfortable and enjoyed being at the cottage.

Pros: This place has a very cozy, homey vibe to it. Ruth has been a great host, the kind who cares to keep you comfortable without hovering too much. And the neighborhood in general is very safe and welcoming, with a great shopping village around the corner, and the waterfront just a walking distance away
