Pros: Good location, peaceful, but close to the town and the tram. Only down side was the listing states that there is an extra large bed. It's not. My husband is 6'4\

Pros: Very quiet , fabulous views, stylish and high quality. Very easy walking to the centre. Owner and staff were exceptional.

Cons: Slightly uncomfortable about security, though we had nil issues.

Perfect stay close to the wine tram

Pros: Wow! What a find. From the view to the perfectly stocked, clean and comfortable room, the generous welcome (gorgeous cookies, thank you!), flowers in a vase, the private garden and hot tub (which we didn’t need to heat as the weather was so warm). These are classy gites, just away from the bustle of the town and with jaw dropping views. Don’t hesitate to book!

Cons: Nothing to fault at all. The owners had thought of everything.

Private retreat with comfort and stunning views near town

Pros: • Initial safety concerns quickly put to rest: hosts answered every question directly and reassuringly before arrival. • Early arrival? We were lucky, they welcomed us before check-in and gave a quick, helpful tour. • Gite 1 is spacious, with a separate bedroom and plenty of room to relax. • Large terrace and garden offer both sun and shade all day — just shift the loungers. • Easy access to town: walkable, or grab an Uber (best from the Artisan Village gate). • The wood-fired plunge pool/hot tub adds a rustic, fun touch to the stay. • Perfect balance: close to town yet private, with stunning views and a peaceful vibe.

Cons: • The pillows weren’t to our taste — one too soft, the other too firm. • A dedicated AC unit in the bedroom would be a welcome addition for hotter nights.

Pros: Everything, it was clean and spacious and the people were absolutely friendly and helpful. Amazing stay we wish we could have stayed much longer and hope that we can came back! We got for example beautiful flowers on the table which we enjoyed the home stay. Home away from home 🫶

Incredible farm stay in the heart of Franschhoek

Pros: Everything was wonderful - there are not enough good things to say about Gite! Perfect location - close to restaurants and wineries but still secluded and quiet. Stunning decor, comfortable, has everything you need for a long stay. Antoinette was so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!
