Cons: I did not like the fact that there is no refund should something happen and you need to cancel or change dates. I did not like the fact that there was a hidden R950 cleaning fee (unit not serviced will you stay). If the R950 was included in the advertised amount. The communication from the start of the booking was definitely not welcoming at all. It was more like NO this and No that. I just did not like John's attitude - and then at the end, thank you for keeping the apartment clean. Please could you give 10/10 rating. Please don't ask. Rather, be more welcoming from the start, and dont assume everyone renting the apartment will mess it up. Doors at the entrance ridiculously hard to open. I know it's probably difficult but windows can be cleaner, can only really enjoy view if clean. Blind in main bedroom with sea view did not work so blind stayed closed throughout our stay even when reported on the first day.

Excellent unit, very luxurious.

Pros: Excellent location that suited our needs. Beautiful unit with beautiful views. Had everything we needed for our short stay. Unit was very clean and well decorated.

Cons: Tenants at a unit a few floors below was smoking and talking very loud in the early hours of the morning - the smoke from their cigarettes came into our unit via open windows in our unit & with their loud talking at 2 - 3am in the morning it was very difficult to have a good sleep.

Pros: Beautiful apartment with stylish decor and comfortable furniture, beds, and linen. Well-equipped kitchen. Lovely views over Blouberg Beach toward Table Mountain. The building feels safe and secure and noise levels are very low. Hearing the ocean from one's room and the lounge and kitchen is a huge bonus. The dedicated host, Solay, was ready to kindly assist every time I contacted her, even fifteen days after our stay, to try and retrieve the deposit refund.

Cons: Stop advertising prices where customers are not warned about hidden costs. The day before my arrival, I was sent communication from John (no mobile number provided) about the surprise R1000 \

Pros: Very close to the beach and restaurants, The area is quite and peaceful. There was a gas heater in the apartment to keep us warm

Pros: The apartment was very clean, everything was so fresh, white towels and sheets were actually white and not stained. The views were amazing. There were toiletries available and cleaning stuff for dishes, first aid kit - which I haven't had at self catering apartment complexes in Joburg - so we came prepared for self catering but we found we didn't need to buy some things right away. The apartment is as per the ad and looks even better in person.
