Seaview on 2822 Happy Whale Cottage

Pros: Peaceful area, serene and tranquil.. lovely Seaview. Friendly hosts and so accommodating..

Cons: Somethings I would add: serviettes or a hand paper towel. Alternate with scatter cushion covers.

Perfect stop over

Pros: This was the perfect place to hole up for a couple of days and recover from a long journey. Close to Cape Town airport, but quiet and secluded. It was comfortable and had everything you need. Also 5 mins walk to a lovely little bay for a quick dip. The Harold Porter gardens are within walking distance and spectacular. We also ate at the Waaigat Restaurant which was incredibly good. The hosts could not have been more helpful and great communicators.

Cons: I would suggest the host adds a fan as it was quite hot. There was a some road noise, so we didn't want to open the windows road side.

We’ll definitely be back. The hosts were incredibly flexible and helpful, super impressed wit everything!

Pros: Stunning apartment, amazing sea views and just a short stroll down to the beach. Apartment is tastefully furnished, bed is super comfortable, everything you need for a stay is there. Lovely garden too, with a big table for wine and dinners :)

Pros: Every expectation was met and even exceeded. The web photos is true to the real experience!

Cons: There is nothing not to like. The hosts are friendly, helpful and discreet. The room is spacious and well equipped. And the silence is just what we needed!

Amazing house, with great views. Very close to the beach

Pros: The accommodation is located near restaurants so getting food was easy. The drive to the house is scenic and absolutely breathtaking.

Cons: We had to ask for the WiFi to be switched on.

Excellent stay for a short or longer period.

Well equipped, beautiful views & lovely hosts

Pros: A lovely apartment at which to unwind and recharge. We really enjoyed the location, gorgeous views all round, beautiful private garden,spacious hot shower with good water pressure(often overlooked by hosts, therefore much appreciated here),secure parking and the warm friendliness of kind and responsive hosts. Dries met us on site and was consistently helpful. Also a short walk to cafe, antique store and coffee shop which all the locals and travelers frequent. Thank you to our thoughtful hosts Elna & Dries for the coffee vouchers. Would definitely recommend for those seeking comfort and the most stunning views of mountains, ocean and fynbos.

Cons: Situated on the the main road so traffic can be a bit noisy at times. Honestly, after a short while it no longer bothered us as you dont hear cars when spending most of the time in the garden area facing the ocean.

Cons: Everything, felt extremely comfortable & safe.

Pros: The seaview from the house was amazing. Very big, beautifull garden and the visit of the baboons.
